to frye or not to frye?
Got these shoes last week online, 20% off. Not bad since Frye's almost never go on sale. Still, they were a bit spendy and I can't decide whether or not I should keep them. What do you think?
PROS: *super* comfy, been looking for an oxford/brogue type shoe I can wear at work and outside of work, the color, the quality leather (now I know why everyone raves about Frye)
CONS: $$$ (even after the discount). They have elicited such reactions from friends as: "If you wear those shoes, I guarantee you will never get laid." OR "Those are dude shoes." OR "Aren't those pretty butch?"
What do you think? (Be honest.) I am leaning towards keeping them because they are so comfy. Also, although they are a bit pricey, I'm tired of buy disposable shoes that crap out after a year or two. If I keep these I imagine I'll keep these around for a while.
